Many persons have asked me about whom the man behind this Mercedes coupe obsession is.

So here is a small description of Peter: 
My name is Peter Hedenström and I live in Stockholm, Sweden.
I was born in februari 1966, I have a wife and a son.

My life has been circling around the W126C "SEC" since the premiere in Geneva 1981 when I first fell in love with the car.

My first reaction of the car was WOW, I thought it was the most beautiful car in the world, and I still believe that today as well.
From 1981 and until today I have owned or had in my possession about 25-30 SEC´s, from the 380 to 560SEC.
I have tried to work as a SEC broker along this time and I have thru profession been able to drive and experience many more SEC´s.

This site 500SEC.com is something that I have as a hobby on my spare time. The idea of 500SEC.com was born in 1999 and very soon thereafter 500SEC.com went online.
As I am self-employed in the computer technology business my time is unfortunately limited.
Therefore I want all of you visitors to tell me what it is that you want to see or read about here.
I will try to make that happen.

The last visitor statistics I saw on 500sec.com was on average around 190-450 visitors a day.
I have to update this sentence, 051219 we are getting around 15-1600 uniquie visitors a day.

I Personally have a VERY extensive collection of car catalogues/brochures and model cars on the W126C SEC.
It would be provoking of me to say everything that is ever published but I am pretty close to that (at least as far as I know).
And, no I am not trading or selling any manuals and/or catalogs. It is a collection and I would hate to break it up. I would trade it all for a 560SEC 1991 in MINT condition though ;)
